4 Simple Summer Hair Looks

by Uptown American Team

Style #1: This hair style is so quick and cute. First, pick out a cute simple gold or silver hair pin. You can either leave your hair natural or curl/straighten it. Then, all you have to it take a section of hair form both sides (as much or little as you want) and bring them together at the back with the hair pin.

Style #2: Start French braiding your hair from the very front of your hair line and stop once you’ve reached the crown of your head. If you hair is on the thinner side, you may want to pull a little more hair up into this section. Then simply wrap this top half of your hair into a bun and secure with a few bobby pins. If the braid looks too tight, pull the loops apart to loosen.

Style #3: To get these relaxed beachy waves, grab a curling iron (our fav is from Bed Head) and start curling pieces around your head. If your hair is naturally curly, just focus on the pieces on top. If your hair is naturally straight, you may have to curl more of your hair. Flip your head down and run your fingers through your hair to add a little more messiness to your curls. If some pieces are still too tight, run a brush through them. Then use a sea salt spray like the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. This spray adds a texture to all hair types. Just spray it in, run your fingers through your hair a bit and you’re good to go!

Style #4: This look is best for those hot summer days when you want to keep your hair out of your face and off your neck. First, grab a chunk of hair on one side of your part and divide it into two one-inch sections. pull the rest of your hair into ponytail as high or low as you want. Next braid each of the two sections. Tie the bottoms of these braids with small hair elastics. Loosen the braids to your content and pull them to your ponytail. Just use another hair tie to add the braids to your ponytail and you’re ready to take on the day!
