You don’t have to skip out on great experiences just because you don’t want to shell out the big bucks! Take them to any of these locations for a date they won’t soon forget and neither will you! Just don’t forget to charge your phone or bring your camera because, all of these locations are definitely photo worthy!
Griffith Observatory. This is one of the most iconic locations in California. It has a great view of the classic Hollywood sign. This location offers a free museum tour with a view of the Tesla coil. It has multiple deck views of the cityscape below. Check out this location at sunset and you won’t be disappointed. You can even picnic on the grass or steps of this location. The parking can run you anywhere from $8-20 depending on how long you would like to stay. This is an awesome location to snap a few photos with your partner.

Santa Monica Pier. This is one of the coolest piers in all of California. Where New York has Coney Island we have the Santa Monica Pier. This is a great place to getaway if a day at an amusement park isn’t in the budget, but you want the fun of rides, fair like food and carnival games, this is the ideal spot. You can spend your entire day easily in this city, with the pier being a fun adventure, the beach as well as the town just a short walk away. If you are looking for a fairly inexpensive all day adventure this is the place to go.

Venice Beach. This location is just a short drive away from Santa Monica as it is it’s neighboring city! This is our most famous beach and for good reason The boardwalk is honestly one of the coolest places in all of LA. The inexpensive vendors, cheap food, and street performers keep you entertained for hours. There are multiple art murals along the walls at this beach as well as the iconic Muscle Beach. This location might run you a bit more as you’ll want to try food and pick up a couple of souvenirs. However, you can leave this location with less than $35 per person easily;
Location: 1800 Ocean Front Walk, Los Angeles, Ca
LACMA. Or known as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. This location is always so much fun! It starts off with a lamp post art piece that you can take selfies in forever. They often times have interactive art pieces that rotate throughout the year. Last year was their string art exhibit. This location is next to the La Brea Tar Pits in LA. They have a free day once a week as well as having low priced admission depending on if you want to catch an extra exhibit or not. If you can only go to one museum this summer we highly recommend this one!

Exposition Park. Take your date on a walk through a massive rose garden. Skip out on flowers and take her to one of the prettiest gardens in southern California. There is also the African American museum or the California Science center there. Admission is free!
